DPRK Acrobats Win Gold Prize at Izhevsk Int'l Acrobatics Festival

Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The 12th Izhevsk International Acrobatics Festival was held in the city of Izhevsk, the Republic of Udmurtiya of Russia on Mar. 6-10. It was attended by 200-odd excellent acrobats from 15 countries including the DPRK, Russia, China, Poland, Spain and Mexico. The DPRK acrobats showed well the high development of the Juche-oriented acrobatics by performing aerial acrobatics full of bravery, courage, joy and optimism. Judges, participants in the festival and spectators gave a big clap to the DPRK acrobats whenever they flawlessly performed high stunts. At the awarding-ceremony the gold prize, the top prize of the festival, was conferred on the DPRK's physical acrobatics "Fliers". The DPRK acrobats returned home on Saturday. -0-
