Dr Mahathir Launches Book On Dangers Of Nuclear War

KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) -- Former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad who is also the Perdana Global Peace Foundation (PGPF) President launched the "Towards World War Scenario III : Dangers of Nuclear War" book by Michel Chossudovsky in-conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal hearing. Dr Mahathir and wife Dr Siti Hasmah later attended a dialogue session with Chossudevsky, an economic professor from the University of Ottawa. Chossudevsky in his book among others disclosed that the US and its NATO allies were preparing to launch a nuclear war directed against both Iran and North Korea, in which according to him might result in the Third World War. He also claimed that scientific opinions were used to manipulate the views of international community to endorse "humanitarian war" using tactical nuclear weapon, in the name of world peace, and at the same time upheld it as a means to protect the Western world from nuclear attack. -- BERNAMA
