Draught uproots 3 millions palms in Abadan

Abadan, Nov 20, IRNA – Deputy Governor General for Abadan Zeinoddin Mousavi said on Tuesday that draught has destroyed some three millions of palms in Abadan farms which require meticulous attention of all sectors, including state-run and privat There were some five millions of palm trees in Abadan, but this year draught destroyed three millions of them and there are only two million left, he said.
