Dubious voice recording investigated

Manama, Aug. 29 (BNA): Chief Prosecutor in the Capital Governorate, Nawaf Al-Awadhi, said the Public Prosecution had investigated a complaint lodged against a Bahraini suspect. The suspect had allegedly recorded dubious audio clips to defame a specific sect of believers in the Prophet's Sunnah and slander them. The prosecution on Monday listened to a statement from the complainant who belongs to the slandered sect. He claimed that the material had been recorded by the suspect to cause strife and hatred within the community. The prosecution transcribed the content of the recording presented by the complainant. The investigations are continuing.
