Earthquake Shake Mimika, Papua

Jayapura, Papua, Aug 23 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale shook Mimika, Papua, Thursday at 1:01 pm local time. The quake`s epicenter was located 4.14 degrees southern latitude, 136.8 degrees eastern longitude, at a depth of 56 km below sea level and around 45 km northwest of Mimika, the Jayapura meteorological, climatology and geophysics agency (BMKG) said in a statement here Thursday.
