Education minister receives AGU president

Manama, June 9 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi received here today the President of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Ouhali. The minister congratulated AGU President on the accreditation of the HRH Princess Al-Jawhara bint al-Ebrahim Centre for Molecular Medicine and Inherited Disorders (AJC) by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)’s Health Ministers’ Council. He asserted that the new achievement by AJC, which is affiliated with AGU, adds to AGU’s milestone accomplishments since its establishment. He commended AGU’s efforts to develop its academic programmes and rehabilitate GCC medical competencies in various disciplines, stressing that AGU represents a bright model for strong fraternal relations among GCC states. Dr. Al-Ouhali praised the continuous support of the kingdom to AGU.
