Educational visits programme resumes

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): The educational visits programme, implemented by Public Relations and Information Directorate at the Ministry of Education, resumed in the second term of the 2015-2016 school year. The directorate organised a student visit to the National Action Charter Monument, marking the kingdom’s celebrations of the 15th Anniversary of the National Action Charter. The directorate is planning to organise a total of 714 visits for all educational stages to the National Action Charter and other national institutions, including the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), museums, cultural centres, security and community service centres and various sectors which are related to education. The visits aim to consolidate the values of citizenship, and provide an opportunity for students to be informed about the kingdom’s rich historical and civilisational heritage.
