Egypt expresses full support to Bahrain

Cairo, June 20 (BNA): Egypt has expressed full support to all measures taken by Bahrain recently to confront attempts to shake its stability. The Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement the Bahraini government’s right to preserve the principles of citizenship and peaceful co-existence in facing organisations working on the basis of a foreign political and religious reference. It also emphasised Egypt’s rejection of attempts by some organisations receiving foreign support to breach the Bahraini constitution and institutions, fan political sectarianism and provide a legitimate cover for extremism and violence. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry also voiced Egypt’s confidence in the Bahraini judiciary and its probity in dealing with such issues.
