Election of Kyrgyzstan to UNESCO Executive Board is great opportunity for dissemination of spiritual heritage in int’l arena-Jeenbekov

Election of Kyrgyzstan to the Executive Board of the UNESCO is a great opportunity for the dissemination of spiritual heritage in international arena, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov stressed at the meeting with representatives of the creative intelligentsia at the National Academy of “Manas” and Chyngyz Aitmatov. The meeting took place yesterday, Dec. 4 on the occasion of the Day of Manas Epic, celebrated in Kyrgyzstan annually on this day. The Kyrgyz leader recalled that for the first time in the history of the country, Kyrgyzstan was elected to the Executive Board of UNESCO in November 2019. He stressed the election to the Council provided a good opportunity to disseminate the heritage of Manas the Great and Chyngyz Aitmatov at the international level. He noted every effort will be made to use this opportunity. President Jeenbekov stressed the election to the Executive Board of UNESCO is a great victory for Kyrgyzstan in foreign policy.
