Electricity and Water Minister receives artist

Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza received artist Arhama Mohammed Al-Thawadi Al-Khaldi, who present a copy of the “Supreme Commander” anthem, which won the golden award at the Cairo Radio and Television Festival in Egypt. The prize-winning anthem was produced by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Media and Moral Guidance Directorate. The minister praised the prolific artistic career of Arhama Mohammed Al-Thawadi Al-Khaldi since 1969, producing works that aim to foster the values of belonging to the homeland, patriotism and national allegiance to His Majesty the King. He described him as Bahrain’s ambassador in all artistic arenas, whether in the Kingdom or abroad, winning national and Arab prizes. The artist thanked the minister for supporting Bahraini artists and talents.
