Electricity Minister receives British ambassador

Manama, Sept. 11 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received newly-appointed British Ambassador Roderick Drummond. He praised the 200-year close ties in various fields between the two friendly countries. Both sides also discussed ways of enhancing economic cooperation by offering British companies investment opportunities to participate in existing and future projects. The ambassador thanked Dr. Mirza for the good welcome and hospitality, expressing Britain’s readiness to enhance cooperation in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors to serve the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
