Endowments Directorate supports charitable programme

Manama, July 25 (BNA): "The Sunni Endowments Directorate participated in "DONE" philanthropic programme show implemented and aired by Bahrain Television (BTV) during the blessed month of Ramadan," the Directorate’s President Rashid bin Ftais Al Hajeri, said. "The directorate allocated BD 9,000 in financial support to help needy families and elderly persons towards debt repayment, medical treatment, home furnishing and revamp, in coordination with the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Ministry of Information Affairs, and Sunni Endowments Council," Dr. Al Hajeri added. He lauded the efforts of the Royal Charity Organisation under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressing great pride in the RCO’s humanitarian work inside Bahrain and abroad. He expressed pride and appreciation of the vital role undertaken by Bahrain in promoting humanitarian relief efforts throughout the world.
