Energy Minister meets outgoing UN official

Manama, Mar.12 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received outgoing United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Co-ordinator in Bahrain Peter Grohman and his deputy Amin Cherkaoui. Dr. Mirza hailed cooperation between Bahrain and the United Nations to promote development programmes, build competences in the field of sustainable development and spur growth. He commended Grohman’s dedicate efforts during his tenure which, he said, had a positive on Bahrain’s drive to achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals.
