Energy minister: no negative situation for citizens and industrialists regarding natural gas transport

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz has said regarding the technical failure in the flow of natural gas to Turkey that there was currently no negative situation for homes and industrial places. Natural gas flow from Azerbaijan to Turkey stopped earlier today due to a technical failure. Also, flow of Iranian natural gas reduced due to a technical failure. Yildiz told reporters that there was a problem in the platform where natural gas was extracted in Azerbaijan, adding that Azerbaijani officials were exerting efforts to solve the problem. He added that there was a problem with the compressor in Iran which caused drop in the amount of natural gas flowing to Turkey.  Yildiz said that they would make an assessment in the evening regarding the situation.
