Epidemic Spread and Treatment Results in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- According to information of the state emergency epidemic prevention headquarters, more than 2 140 fever cases, with over 2 760 recoveries, and one death were reported from 18:00 of July 4 to 18:00 of July 5 throughout the country. As of 18:00 of July 5 since late April, the total number of fever cases is over 4 759 770, of which more than 4 755 690 (99.914 %) have recovered and at least 4 000 (0.084%) are under medical treatment. To date, the death toll is at 74 with the fatality rate at 0.002%. -0-
