ERC distributes winter aid to thousands of refugee families in Jordan

Abu Dhabi, 14 January 2015 (WAM): Teams from the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, have distributed winter aid packages to more than 12,000 Syrian refugee families and others in Jordan who are in need of assistance following the blizzard that hit the Levant and Iraq. Dr. Hamdan Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the ERC, who accompanied the teams during the distribution, said that the intensive ERC campaign is in response to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the orders of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the follow up of H.H.
