F1 entry visa procedures outlined

Manama, Mar.10 (BNA): The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) is still receiving entry visa applications to attend the 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1, scheduled to be held next month. Formula 1 fans from 115 designated nationalities can finalize the procedures on the NPRA portal www.evisa.gov.bh. Fans from other nationalities will need guarantors to secure the visas which will be available until the 8th of April. The NPRA announced that it would start receiving the F1 visitors on the 25th of March, pointing out that F1 fans would not be allowed to overstay their two-week non-extendable visas. It called upon Bahraini companies which are taking part in the sporting event, whether by selling tickets or providing residency facilities, to register through the e-visa system and benefit from the e-services. In a statement issued today, it stressed full preparedness to serve the visitors and facilitate the issuing of F1 visas to contribute to the success of this global sporting event.
