Failing oil prices impact on state budget discussed

Manama, May 3 (BNA): Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has met with Chairman Jacques de lajugie of the Regional Economic Department of French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Head of Economic Department of the French Embassy in Bahrain, Valerie Montane. Latest local and regional financial and economic developments were discussed, as well as Bahrain's measures taken to address the impact of the drop in oil prices on the state budget. Bahrain's facilitations for foreign investments were also reviewed. The French delegation praised Bahrain's economic and financial reinforcement that promotes the national economic and financial achievements.
