Film premier in Shymkent
Shymkent, September 29, 2009 (Khabar) - A premiere of the comedy entitled “25 tenge” has taken place in Shymkent. The cast includes a good number of Kazakh celebrities such as the singer Nagima Yeskaliyeva, the “Super Star KZ” contestant Kairat Tuntekov, the famous boxer Mukhtarkhan Dildabekov and the famous Kazakh rapper Yerbolat Kudaibergenov. However, leading parts were performed by ordinary Shymkent young people. They are no strangers to acting though as they are members of the Club for the Lightheaded and Quick-witted.
Bakbergen Asanbayev, film director:
- They did their best. They previously performed on many stages and featured in television programs. Therefore, it wasn’t that difficult for them and it was quite easy for us to work with them too. The result came out great so I’m happy with it.”
The adventures of four friends form the film’s plot. They face a difficult situation which the film authors managed to present in a comic way. However, their aim was not just to make people laugh but to make them think about the essence of friendship, love, loyalty and dignity.
Nurken Imankulov, actor:
- There is an element of truth in a very funny scene. This was our way of satirizing the bad aspects of our peers’ behaviour.
The script writer and director Shapagat Orynbayev believes that satire and parody are the best methods of guiding young people. The premiere was a success as it gained a storm of applause after a touching finale and the creators of the motion picture have plenty of creative plans now.
