Finance Minister attends GCC Financial, Economic Affairs Committee meeting

Kuwait, Nov. 6 (BNA): The Minister of Finance, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, led the delegation of Bahrain to the 108th Meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, which was held here earlier today, with the participation of the GCC member states and the Secretary General. In his keynote address, the Kuwaiti Minister of Finance, Dr Nayef F. Al Hajraf, stressed the need to continue the efforts of the GCC member states in confronting the persisting financial and economic developments and challenges on the regional and global levels. The recommendations of the GCC Monetary Institutions and Central Banks Governors Committee were adopted during the meeting. A number of scheduled topics and working papers were also discussed The meeting was preceded by the 54th Meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of the GCC Ministries of Finance and Economy.
