Finance Minister meets with Palestinian counterpart

Manama, April 5 (BNA): Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met with his Palestinian counterpart Shukri Beshara on the sidelines of the annual joint meetings of the Arab financial authorities. They discussed ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation in the financial, economic and investment fields, stressing the key role played by the Arab funds in backing the Palestinian economy and development work in the Arab world in general. They also underlined the need to boost this role to fast-track economic and social development in the Arab countries. Both sides also discussed global economic developments.
