Flights from Bishkek to Abu Dhabi expected to launch in fall

Bishkek, June 3, 2022. /Kabar/. The Department of Tourism hosted on Thursday a meeting with key representatives of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, where they productively discussed issues of cooperation. The Tourism Department reported that the sides expressed interest in close cooperation and collaboration, which will contribute to the development of sustainable tourism at a high quality and optimal level in the land of nomads. It is planned to launch flights of low-cost carrier Wizz Air Abu Dhabi on Abu Dhabi-Bishkek-Abu Dhabi route in fall 2022. It was also proposed to consider the possibility of organizing another direct flight on the Baku-Bishkek-Baku route. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi representatives have taken this proposal into circulation and in the future it will be considered with the participation of the parties involved. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is low cost airline based in Abu Dhabi International Airport, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The airline began operating flights in November 2020. At that time the fleet consisted of two Airbus A321neo, today 4-6 are in order. As of 2021, the airline operates flights from Abu Dhabi (UAE) to: Almaty, Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan), Yerevan (Armenia), Budapest (Hungary), Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Katowice (Poland), Sofia (Bulgaria), Larnaca (Cyprus), Alexandria (Egypt), Kutaisi (Georgia), Athens, Saloniki (Greece), Tel Aviv (Israel), Baku (Azerbaijan).
