FM delivers HM King's message to Egyptian President

Manama, Mar. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a verbal message to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, on ways of bolstering the ever-growing, outstanding historical relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples. In the message, HM the King took pride in the rapid progress of bilateral ties at multiple levels and touched on regional challenges and how to surmount them, appreciating the vital role being played by the Arab Republic of Egypt to consolidate peace and security in the region. He also lauded Egypt’s incessant efforts to fight terrorism and to ward off external interference in the internal affairs of the Arab states. The verbal message was conveyed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, as he was received by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, who welcomed him and entrusted him with conveying his sincere greetings and best wishes for good health to HM the King. President El Sisi appreciated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s supportive stances towards Egypt at all circumstances as best reflecting the depth of the firm fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples. The Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the close bilateral relations between the two countries relies on a longstanding history of strategic partnership, constructive cooperation and joint action in all fields, noting that moving with bilateral ties towards broader horizons remain a high priority for both sides. He remarked that continued interaction, consultation and coordination vis-à-vis regional and global issues are distinctive features of the excellent bilateral ties and reflect both countries’ keenness to protect the interests of the countries and peoples of the region, appreciating Egypt’s supportive positions towards Bahrain’s security and stability. The Minister of Foreign Affairs commended the positive results of the recent visit of the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, to Egypt as reflecting the close relations between the two brotherly countries. He said the visit pours into the consolidation of the Arab national security and is a strategic asset for the Arab capabilities to confront the challenges facing the region and reinforce security and peace across the world.
