FM receives GCC Secretary-General

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received  Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The minister welcomed the GCC Secretary General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and commended the role of the General Secretariat of the Council to enhance the GCC's progress and achieve its objectives. He also wished the Secretary General success in his duties.  Dr. Al Zayani stressed his keenness to continue communicating and consulting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs on various issues, noting the tireless efforts and endeavors of the Kingdom of Bahrain to establish security and stability in the region.
