Focus on Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum World Peace Award

Manama, May 16 (BNA): The International Peace Institute (IPI) organizes on May 19 a presentation on the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum World Peace Award at the IPI Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional office. Brigadier Ahmed Khalfan Al-Mansouri will give an overview of the award launched in 2011 to focus on the Islamic values of tolerance, moderation, fairness and establishing channels of communication with all peoples of the world to promote international relations to achieve the desired peace. The award targets honouring personalities of outstanding contributions to world peace and sustainable development.
