Foreign Affairs Minister meets Indonesian counterpart

Manama, Sept. 3 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi. Shaikh Khalid welcomed his Indonesian counterpart currently vising the Kingdom which reflects the solid friendship between Bahrain and Indonesia Republic, and their keenness to expand coordination on various issues of mutual interest in order to enhance the bilateral cooperation. He pointed out the contributions of the Indonesian community in promoting and developing the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Indonesian minister took pride in visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing her appreciation of the solid bilateral relations between both countries, and their progress at all levels. She also commended the efforts exerted by Bahrain in enhancing security and stability in the region.
