Foreign Affairs Minister receives Chinese ambassador

Manama, Aug. 28 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bahrain, Anwaer. The minister expressed his appreciation to the Foreign Minister and State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, for the his warm welcome and hospitality during the Minister’s recent visit to Beijing to participate in the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. He also praised the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries. The minister stressed that the relations between Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China will remain strong and deep-rooted, and can not be harmed by any words from any journalist. The ambassador stressed the keenness of his country to strengthen its relations with Bahrain and to promote them at all levels, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
