Foreign Minister meets with Chinese Foreign Ministry official

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the People’s Republic of China, Li Chengwen, on the sidelines of the 15th Manama Dialogue Conference. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister reviewed the course of the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People's Republic of China and ways of enhancing them in different aspects, especially in light of the common will and the great opportunities that the two countries have in various fields. The Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the People's Republic of China to enhance relations with the Arab countries for the benefit of all. For his part, Mr. Li Chengwen expressed the aspiration of the People's Republic of China to develop joint cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also hailed the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its tangible efforts aimed at consolidating security, stability and development in the region, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further development.
