Foreign Minister meets Israeli counterpart

Manama, Mar.27 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met in the Negev today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Yair Lapid, during his visit to Israel at the invitation of the Israeli prime minister. The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance and develop them in the implementation of the joint action plan. They also reviewed relations and the results achieved within the framework of the Declaration Supporting Peace, the Abraham Accords, memoranda of understanding, and the agreements signed between the two countries. The two ministers also discussed the latest political and security developments in the Middle East, regional and international situations and their repercussions on the region's security and stability, and ways to enhance coordination and joint cooperation towards these issues, in addition to issues of common interest at the regional and international levels. The Bahraini Ambassador to Israel, Khaled Yousef Al-Jalahma, and the Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Eitan Naveh, and senior officials from the foreign ministries of the two countries.
