Foreign minister meets LGT board chairman

Manama, Mar. 2 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met in his office today H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein, the LTG Board Chairman, currently on a visit to Bahrain. The minister discussed with LTG Board Chairman ways to bolster ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Liechtenstein to avail their friendly peoples, hailing LGT great progress. He affirmed that there are many areas to cooperate in thanks to the availability of great potentials in the Kingdom of Bahrain along with its sound position as a financial hub that attracts global firms due to its excellent reputation in the field and the fast-paced progress of its diversified financial sector. Prince Philip affirmed the importance of developing Bahrain-Liechtenstein relations, on the one hand, and GCC-European ties, on the other, in all fields and expressed delight over the progress of bilateral ties. During the meeting which also touched on a number of issues of mutual interest, the Prince affirmed LGT's keenness to reinforce its activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to better benefit from the existing variety of opportunities in the financial sector and to meet joint interests, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further advancement and prosperity.
