Foreign Minister meets Malaysian counterpart

Bako, Oct. 24 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met here today his Malaysian counterpart, Saifuddin Abdullah, on the sidelines of the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, to be held on 25-26 October 2019 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid praised the distinguished level of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia thanks to the keenness of the two countries to develop the various frameworks of bilateral cooperation, interaction and coordination on all issues of common concern. Saifuddin Abdullah expressed Malaysia's pride in its strong relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and keenness to upgrade bilateral ties to meet the common aspirations of the two brotherly countries and their peoples, hailing the great efforts of the kingdom of Bahrain to reinforce security and stability.
