Foreign Minister meets with Singaporean Senior Minister of State, Defence, Foreign Affairs

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, Dr. Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, on the sidelines of the 15th Manama Dialogue. During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa welcomed Dr. Maliki bin Osman, commending the progress of the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Singapore, which reflects a keen interest and a constant desire to develop all aspects of bilateral cooperation in a way that benefits the two friendly countries and peoples. He also expressed Bahrain's pride in joining the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, which is a step that reflects the distinguished level of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and ASEAN countries and will push these relations to more advanced and prosperous levels. For his part, Dr. Maliki Osman stressed the pride of the Republic of Singapore in the close relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its aspiration to develop cooperation in all fields in a way that promotes common interests.
