Foreign Minister meets US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs

New York, Sept. 23 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met today at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain New York, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf. The two sides praised the long-standing strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and noted the efforts exerted to further enhance cooperation at all levels to benefit both sides. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
