Foreign minister participates in Arab League consultative meeting in New York

New York, Sept. 24 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in the consultative meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level held in New York, on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The ministers discussed the latest developments in the Arab region and the meetings and consultations held during the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, in light of the statements and resolutions issued by the ordinary summits of Tunis and Makkah, in addition to the latest decisions taken by the Council at the ministerial level at its previous meeting held in Cairo on September 10. It also reviewed the terrorist attack on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and the Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries as well as the Palestinian cause.
