Foreign Minister receives credentials copy of Portuguese Ambassador–Designate

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry's General Court today, Mr. Luís Almeida Ferraz, who presented a copy of his credentials as Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh. The Minister hailed the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Portuguese Republic, noting their development in various fields. He stressed the keenness of the Kingdom to further develop cooperation and coordination with the Portuguese Republic in all areas, wishing the ambassador success in carrying out his diplomatic duties. Ambassador Ferraz lauded the growing relations between the two countries, affirming his keenness to further develop bilateral cooperation in the interest of both countries and people. He also wished the Kingdom further development and prosperity.
