Foreign Minister receives GCC secretary-general

Manama, Oct. 15 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The minister praised the efforts exerted by the GCC General Secretariat in strengthening the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States relations with other countries. He also commended its active and constructive role in reinforcing security and stability in the region and supporting the efforts seeking peaceful solutions to current crises to meet people’s aspirations for development and progress. Dr. Al Zayani took pride in continuously interacting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and constantly holding consultation and exchanging views on regional and international issues as well as on the latest developments, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further prosperity and progress.
