Foreign Minister receives IISS Executive Director

Manama, Sept. 12 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), Sir Tom Beckett. The minister expressed appreciation of the IISS tangible efforts in enhancing security, development and stability in the region and world over. He praised IISS various activities and its purposeful insights and analyses on various International issues, wishing Sir Tom Beckett and all the staff of the Institute every future success. Sir Tom Beckett expressed his deep appreciation to the minister for his continuous support to the IISS and his contributions to the success of its mission and objectives to establish security and stability in various countries of the world, wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
