Foreign minister receives IPI president

Manama, Oct. 29 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received President of the International Peace Institute (IPI)Terje Rød-Larsen. The minister highlighted the role of IPI in reinforcing peace and security and promoting the culture of peace and coexistence in the region. He affirmed the keenness of the ministry to enhance its cooperation and coordination with the institute in various activities and initiatives for the benefit of all peoples in the region. He wished the president of IPI continuous success. For his part, IPI president valued the support of the minister to the institute†s programs to achieve its objectives.
