Foreign Minister receives US Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today received the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Steven Bondy. They reviewed the historical relations of cooperation and friendship, and the strategic partnership between the two countries, noting that bilateral relations have always been based on solid foundations of respect and mutual appreciation. They also discussed ways to develop bilateral ties in all fields. The two sides discussed developments in the Middle East and regional and international issues of common interest, within the framework of the two countries' keenness to consolidate regional and global peace, in order to achieve security, stability and prosperity.
