Foreign minister receives Watani Bahrain Society’s chairman, members

Manama, Jun. 7 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry's General Court today the Bahrain Watani Society’s Board Chairman, Fawaz Ahmed Sulaiman, and members. Shaikh Khalid welcomed the Board Chairman and members of the society and praised their incessant efforts to promote national identity, hailing in particular their pioneering initiatives to consolidate the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland. He wished them further success to benefit the nation. Fawaz Ahmed Sulaiman and members of the Board of Directors granted the minister the Honorary Presidency of their Society in recognition of the great role he is playing through representing the Kingdom of Bahrain at various regional and international forums. They also thanked him for his precious support and took pride in constantly interacting with him as this, they said, has had a very positive impact on the society’s programmes and projects.
