Foreign Minister's Special Envoy Meets US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury

New Delhi, November 19 (QNA) - HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met Saturday with HE Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Strategic Policy of the United States of America Scott Rembrandt, on the sidelines of His Excellency's participation in the third 'No Money for Terror' Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing in the Indian capital, New Delhi. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations, especially in combating money laundering and terrorist financing fields, in addition to a number of issues of common interest. HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met separately with HE Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India Ausaf Sayeed and HE Indian envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan JP Bhalla, on the sidelines of His Excellency's participation in the third 'No Money for Terror' Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing in the Indian capital, New Delhi. During the two meetings, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations, especially in the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing, in addition to discussing the latest developments in Afghanistan and a number of issues of common interest. HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani also met with HE President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) T. Raja Kumar on the sidelines of the third 'No Money for Terror' Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing in New Delhi.
