Foreign Ministry holds farewell ceremony for German ambassador

Manama, June 26 (BNA): Under the patronage of the Assistant Foreign Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, a farewell ceremony was held in the Ministry’s General Court today, for the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Alfred Simms-Protz, on the occasion of the end of his term as Ambassador to the Kingdom. During the ceremony, the Assistant Foreign Minister expressed his pride and appreciation for the progress of the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany, praising the efforts of the Ambassador during his tenure which contributed to the consolidation of bilateral relations at all levels. The Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the support he received during his tenure, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. At the end of the ceremony, the Assistant Foreign Minister presented a commemorative gift on this occasion to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, wishing him continued success. (MOFA)
