Foreign Ministry Undersecretary highlights Government Forum role in enhancing public sector

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, affirmed that the 4th Government Forum, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at the initiative of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, adds to the achievements of the Kingdom in the field of comprehensive development. She noted that the foundation for such development was established by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to achieve the Kingdom’s developmental goals. The undersecretary said that the contribution of all public sector entities and institutions in the Government Forum 2019 reflects the common pursuit of the Kingdom's objectives and the sincere desire to elevate it to the level of developed countries through teamwork. Dr. Shaikha Rana added that the Forum represents a national platform that brings together decision-makers to share insights and ideas and develop them in a way that contributes to the aspirations of the citizens of the Kingdom. It also improves government work in what benefits the Kingdom and its citizens in order to achieve the principles of the Kingdom of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. She noted the important role of the Government Forum in enhancing the contributions of the public sector to comprehensive development in line with the Government Action Plan 2019-2022, in a way that grants the achievement of sustainable economic and social security in the framework of the Fiscal Balance Program. The undersecretary stressed that the Forum mirrors the advanced pioneering status the Kingdom has achieved in all fields at the regional and international levels.
