Foreign ministry undersecretary meets Indonesian parliamentary delegation

Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary, Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, received on Monday a delegation from the parliament of the Republic of Indonesia, which is currently vising the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Undersecretary welcomed the delegation, headed by Ahmad Maoshul Affandy, and praised the progress of Bahraini-Indonesian relations in various fields, affirming the keenness of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop ties in all areas with Indonesia. He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain looked forward to further cooperation with Indonesia and the means of benefiting from the geographic location of Bahrain as a gateway to the region as well as to further bolster bilateral relations between the two countries and their people. The delegation expressed the keenness of the Indonesian side to expand cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, particularly in view of the many facilities and opportunities available in various fields, expressing its hope to bolster cooperation between the two countries. The meeting also discussed the means of bolstering economic, social, investment in the oil, gas and aluminum fields as well as Islamic banks among other areas.
