Foreign Ministry Undersecretary offers condolences on demise of former Pakistani President

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, visited the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Kingdom of Bahrain today to offer condolences on the demise of former President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Rafiq Tarar. He was received by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Muhammad Ayub. The Undersecretary for Political Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its brotherly people, recalling the late President and his outstanding contributions to the service of his homeland, his people and the Islamic nation. He stressed the late former President’s keenness to consolidate close historical relations between Bahrain and Pakistan to achieve common interests. He also wished the Islamic Republic of Pakistan continued security, progress and prosperity.
