Four killed, 22 injured after train hits tour bus

NAKHON PATHOM, April 3 (TNA) - Four persons died and 22 injured early Sunday in Nakhon Pathom after a train crashed into a double-decker bus. Police said the accident occurred in Nakhon Chaisri district when the ill-fated tour bus tried to cross the intersection but was hit by the train on the front section of the bus. The bus overturned on the roadside. The bus driver died at the scene of the accident while three other passengers died at the hospital. All the 22 injured passengers were sent for treatment at four hospitals. The bus was one of the two buses, carrying 90 employees of a fertiliser company to attend the seminar on Koh Samet island in Rayong province. (TNA)
