Gas cylinder blast suspect arrested

Manama, Dec. 25 (BNA): The Director-General of Northern Governorate Police announced on Monday the arrest of one of those suspected to be involved in the Demistan gas cylinder blast in which a civilian car was damaged.  He said the Public Prosecutor had been notified and the investigation would continue to identify and arrest the remaining suspects. He also said that after the case was reported, the forensic and crime scene teams were deployed to the site along with the security authorities concerned to gather evidence for the investigation. Legal steps are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
