GCC Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Baghdad

Riyadh, Jan. 18, 2022, SPA -- The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf condemned the two bombings that occurred in Baghdad, Iraq, on Sunday, January 16, 2022, resulting in several injuries. Al-Hajraf expressed the GCC's solidarity with Iraq in its fight against terrorism and its efforts to enhance security and stability on its territories, reiterating the GCC's firm stances against all forms of terrorism and extremism, its rejection of motives and justifications of such acts and determination to dry up the sources of funding and support for terror actors. --SPA
