GCC-Japanese relations discussed

Manama, Nov. 23 (BNA): Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met in Manama with Japanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Keisuke Suzuki, on the sidelines of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2019. They discussed relations of friendship and cooperation between the GCC countries and Japan and ways of bolstering them to serve common interests. They also reviewed regional developments and issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Assistant Secretary General for Political and Negotiations Affairs Dr. Abdelaziz Hamad Al-Awisheq, Head of the Secretariat General’s Political Affairs Turki Al Mekrad and the Japanese Minister’s accompanying delegation.
