German ambassador visits NCC

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): National Communication Centre (NCC) Chief Executive Dr. Mohammed Bahzad has received the German Ambassador to Bahrain, Alfred Simms-Protz. The meeting covered ways to expand cooperation and bolster communication between the two countries. Dr. Bahzad highlighted the strategic role of the NCC both locally and internationally and briefed the German diplomat on its plans to ensure effective, steady and smooth communication between Bahrain and the international community. Ambassador Simms-Protz expressed keenness on deepening cooperation with Bahrain in various areas, particularly that the two countries had convergent views regarding several regional and international issues. The visit to the NCC was a great opportunity to gain insights into the role of the centre and its status, he added. The NCC, through building a communication network that ensures government-wide coordination and alignment focuses on the government’s communication with the media locally and internationally."
